Floral Friday Foto - End of a Season

We're supposed to have our first freezing temperatures this week, Sunday night into the 20s, so I took the opportunity to gather some posies before they are gone.  Not all of these are frost tender, but most are finishing their season anyway.

Sulfur cosmos, Candy Stripe cosmos, UpTick coreopsis, lance-leaf coreopsis, Mexican red sunflower, bachelor buttons, knautia, black-eyed Susans (two kinds), creeping zinnia, dwarf zinnia, yarrow, Shasta Daisy 'Angel,' calendula, and blanketflower.  All in my pretty attributed to Shawnee pottery vase.

Oh... and here's a view from early this morning. A certain cat, who shall remain nameless, was up to no good in the night.

  1. Wow ! What an array of flowers in beautiful vase.It would be my pleasure if you join my link up party related to gardening where you can share about plants and flowers here at http://jaipurgardening.blogspot.com/2020/10/yellow-blooms-in-autumn-garden.html
