Weeping Willow - #ThursdayTreeLove

I ran across this old photo of a weeping willow in a park in California recently and wondered just how I'd fit it in to share. Thursday Tree Love is the perfect place!

  1. Weeping willows are one of my favorite tree. But my favorite park lost most of theirs a few years ago in a rain/wind event - never replaced. This photo has a stark beauty to it.

    1. The park where it is has quite a few weeping willows. They are mostly along the creek and pond.

    1. Thank you! Sometimes they just work out that way with no help from me! This was actually taken with a camera, not a phone!

  5. This is such a gorgeous shot, Lisa! I love the timing of the photo too. The boy and the dog going towards the tree is such a happy one for me.

    1. Thank you. I love weeping willows bare or in leaf. I'll see what trees might make the cut for tomorrow! The rain knocked all the autumn leaves off.
