The weather has been much colder the past few days.  Thursday morning was the coldest and frostiest yet.  There was an unusual sky.  Fortunately, I noticed it because I'd gone out to get pictures of the frost.

It looks kind of ominous.  The day cleared, but I woke to rain this morning.  Better than the earlier forecast, 19 degrees!

    1. Me too. There is often a hole right there. I wonder if there's some warm area or cold area or something different in the atmosphere right there.

  3. I do love dramatic clouds. 19 degrees! Yikes. I don't know what we'd do if we got to 19 degrees. Freak out, most likely.

    1. Yeah, that's too cold for me too! It's not usually that cold here. It's a little colder, and a little hotter than in the SF area where I lived before. Some days of snow that melts, and the odd year of a few days of snow that only melts to refreeze into ice. Last year was mild. If does give us autumn leaf color! I used to think 55 was cold, and now it's not even coat wearing cold! As long as it's raining, it's warmer.
