Flame Skimmer Dragonfly
I've never seen this - apparently, this is a western and central U.S. insect and I'm in New York State. It's beautiful.
I've never seen that kind before. It was bigger and I've never seen one so red.
Oooh, wow. you got really close on that one.
I went slow! Started way back and moved closer and closer, zooming in at first. By the last photo I was close enough to have to un-zoom. Then, it flew off.
HA! I just mentioned on your blog today how I stopped having to approve my own comments, and now I have to, and will be "Anonymous" again!
