February and Life is Returning to the Garden
Well, it's February, which means we can say, "Next month is Spring!" At least on the calendar.
But, in the garden there are signs of life, even where I was convinced the plants had died. Plants are amazing!
I thought these were gone for good:
I'm glad I didn't cut back the old growth last fall. It's protected the new.
There are even flowers blooming in the rock garden:
Others are emerging from the soil (or budding on the branches) with new Spring growth:
The various mints are plotting garden domination:

These perennials are coming back in the Butterfly Garden:

Now, that Coreopsis doesn't look like it's coming back, but look between last year's growth...
