Gardeners vs Non-Gardeners

It's funny how non-gardeners can be so oblivious to the garden!

A non-gardener was standing on my deck yesterday afternoon.  

I said to him, "You have your back to the flowers!  Turn around!"

He did, and answered, "What flowers?"

THESE FLOWERS!  ARE YOU BLIND!

True, the herbs themselves in the two herb beds are just waking up (other than the ever bloomin' prostrate rosemary!), so it does look bare right now.  BUT... THE FLOWERS!  I could even smell the hyacinths!

And, there you have the difference between gardeners and non.
