Gardening in Southern Oregon zone 8b, with pets, past reflections, and "Tuesday Treasures" thrown in!
Gorgeous flowers- our Monet iris are blooming right now- they have the most fragrant scent. We got them while visiting Giverny years ago. We have moved several times since then, but always take our iris with us!
ReplyDeleteAll my iris were free on Craigslist. One was originally from a local city park. Those used to be a mix of colors, now just purple. Several kinds are from when people divided them, so I don't know what they are. My favorite is coming up, it's much later than the others.
DeleteBeautiful macros. My first tulip opened today, a little too late for my "Yellow" post (of course, it was yellow). I used to have something the person who gave it to me called Kool Aid Irises but they died off a year ago. So wonderfully fragrant and scent just like grape Kool-Aid.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of an iris smelling like Kool-Aid! Too bad they died off. Those purples used to be a mix of purple, lighter purple, white, and a peach that had Cheetos orange beards. I miss those.
