I did when I first read about them too! Trellis isn't right, and a different style I have was labeled "Eiffel Tower," which doesn't even suggest it's use. I am fortunate to have worked in a farm and ranch store with a large garden department that hadn't been organized in years. I found dusty boxes of tuteurs and metal arches, which I asked the buyer to deeply discount for me! Otherwise I wouldn't have afforded four tuteurs and two arches! They are cedar, which I spray painted.
Excellent shadow shot! And since there's some blue (my favorite color) in the photo, I'm doubly charmed.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Blue is my favorite color too! My front door is about that same bright color. As well as the interior kitchen and bedroom French doors!
DeleteI had to google tuteur so I learned something because of you!! It makes for a very nice arrowhead looking shadow.

DeleteMy husband (who speaks a little French) probably would have guessed this right away. I learned something today!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how different things look from their shadows.
