Skywatch Friday - May 21, 2021
A really pretty sky for Skywatch Friday. It was seen from a city park a few days ago.
Plus one seen through some pine cones.
Hope your Friday starts your weekend off well.

The first picture, especially, is a nice capture, with the rain shaft in the lower middle of the photo.
ReplyDeleteI liked that part of it, but it didn't zoom in well.
DeleteNice, that first one is really dramatic!
ReplyDeleteIt was, and so much more in person.
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Of course, I can't take credit for the sky itself!
DeleteVery dramatic, almost spooky but then we're not used to seeing any signs of rain here ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a bit ominous, but no rain that day for me.
DeleteVery blue skies.
ReplyDeleteWe have very blue skies here. Unless there is a wildfire somewhere and the valley fills with smoke. I noticed how clear it was when I first moved here. At night so many more stars than in N. California. Fewer lights so darker nights to see them too.
DeleteGreetings and Salutations! Happy to see Blue Skies. It was gray and chilly. Spring is here finally. Looks like it may have rained where you live. Have a wonderful week end. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skies! The first photo is so unusual. Looks like a hole in the sky that the light is passing through.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, the first one is dramatic and ominous. I love dark and ominous.
