Rain Drops, Droplets and Tiny Mist Balls

The rain left some particularly pretty drops and droplets and tiny mists on the plants today.  These are not photos of frost, although some look like it, these are all water.  Besides the unusual look to the droplets, they had lasted all day like this.

A mystery plant on my propagation shelf.  I don't know what word to use for these tiny water balls, so I am calling them "tiny mist balls."

Lupine always look lovely after a rain.

Calendula

These next three are black-eyed Susan.  They really are furry little things!  Tiny mist balls really show off the leaf hairs.

Gaura has traded the flowers on its wands to rain droplets.

There's not much to do in the garden right now.  There is mulching, but that would mean going out to get mulch and compost, and we are encouraged to stay in as much as possible for the next two weeks, so that has to be put on hold.
