A Two-fer Friday - Skywatch and Floral Fotos
The weather here can't decide if it's a day before Spring or it's going to hang onto winter a little bit longer. Nights are mostly still below freezing, but the days are actually pretty warm. Wednesday was 67 F. There are sunny days, and very windy days, and days with dramatic clouds. These are the skies Thursday.
First, from my backyard.
I didn't realize I was catching a jet in the picture.
Only a few nights ago it was snowy.
Pretty but threatening skies. Gorgeous shot of the church. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's now Sunday evening, and I did enjoy my weekend! It was sunny mostly, and I got gardening done.
DeleteIt's fun to find things in photos you don't expect. Happy spring.
ReplyDeleteIt is, isn't it! I have a very old photo of a place my parents used to visit when they were dating. With a magnifying glass it's possible to see a man in a suit and dressy hat climbing up onto the road, coming from nowhere!
DeleteThat is a pretty squill, and I enjoyed the sky pictures, especially the last one with the sugar frosted mountain.
ReplyDeleteI love that description, "sugar frosted!"
DeleteWhat a lovely squill blooms , It would be my pleasure if you join my link up party related to Gardening, Nature and birds here at http://jaipurgardening.blogspot.com/2021/03/garden-affair-stunning-statice-flowers.html
