A Two-fer Friday - Skywatch and Floral Fotos

 Skywatch Friday

Floral Friday Fotos

The weather here can't decide if it's a day before Spring or it's going to hang onto winter a little bit longer.  Nights are mostly still below freezing, but the days are actually pretty warm. Wednesday was 67 F.  There are sunny days, and very windy days, and days with dramatic clouds.  These are the skies Thursday.

First, from my backyard.

I didn't realize I was catching a jet in the picture.

And, the couple of views during a country drive.

I think that's the Presbyterian Church with a white barn in the foreground

The hill in the background, on the left, is Roxy Ann Peak, a 3,576' part of the Western Cascades.

Only a few nights ago it was snowy.

Only the prettiest photo for a Floral Friday Foto!

A lovely fully open striped squill.

Hope you have a great first weekend in spring or fall as the case may be.

    1. It is, isn't it! I have a very old photo of a place my parents used to visit when they were dating. With a magnifying glass it's possible to see a man in a suit and dressy hat climbing up onto the road, coming from nowhere!

  3. That is a pretty squill, and I enjoyed the sky pictures, especially the last one with the sugar frosted mountain.
