Fridays are for Skywatching and Floral Fotos - June 25, 2021
On Tuesday there was a thunderstorm with winds and rain (too little) and lightning. After it was over, this was the sunset. The first photo was taken about half an hour before the others. I often think how lovely it must be at the coast on nights like this.
'Bonanza' daylily, an heirloom variety hybridized in 1954. This one grew from a division, 'Bonanza' won't bear true from seed.
Have a nice Friday and enjoy the weekend!
Beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice sunset, nevertheless. I hope you get through your current heat wave OK. What a summer this is going to be. I've missed having water to photograph sunsets against. It does make a difference. Nice daylily, too. Mine started to open up in the past several days. I have three varieties blooming right now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I especially like the pink in the sky. Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings and Salutations! Agreed. I like PINK skies too.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's nice near the water. Sometimes the water keeps the clouds and it's nicer inland. Very nice shots you got.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies. I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky!
