Skywatch Friday - February 10, 2023
I've got a sunset...
... and a Moon Morning.
I'm particularly pleased with the moon, as it's one of the first times it hasn't come out a fuzzy blob using my phone camera. That's steam from the plywood mill. Some days, like today, it smells really nice! (It never smells bad, either nice or nothing. It's also quiet.)
The clouds to the south of the moon were pretty too.

ReplyDeleteWell, it's the best I've gotten! I do have a "real" camera, but not very experienced with it. It does have a little moon setting, so maybe I could try that at night.
DeleteWhat is that smoke stack in the second to last pic? I mean, it's not black like smoke, but it looks like something is spouting.
ReplyDeleteIt's steam from the mill. Boise Cascade makes plywood here. There are other steam stacks (is that what they'd be?) seen in some photos looking to the south. Some days, like this morning, it smells so nice! It's not noisy either!
