    1. I forgot it was the 15th until this morning, and had to hurry out for photos. I'd prefer the sun to have been higher, but that's what I get for losing track of time!

  3. You may have had quite a gardening summer with the smoke and excessive heat, but your flowers are spectacular survivors! Happy GBBD to you.

    1. Some of them are doing quite well. The bright pink aster is new from a bare root plant last year, so I'm thrilled how big it got. KICKIN' Pink Chiffon, what a name!

    2. I bought the Pink Chiffon, but this looks like the Carmine Red. I like it better!

    1. A lot are starting to look faded and tattered, but the front yard looks pretty good. The blanketflowers front and back are great, and that new aster.

  5. I wish I'd have thought of a Wordless Bloom Day post! I love your aster.

    1. I'll let you in on the secret... I was posting one Wordless photo and noticed the date in the corner of the monitor, scurried outside to take some early am photos, and just stuck them all as Wordless! It wasn't thought out! I love that aster too! I guess you mean the pretty darker one. The other's just a single mix I grew from seed (perennial though).

  6. Lovely photos! I love the violet-yellow combination on flowers!

    Happy WW!
