There are still flowers blooming even after the first (and only so far) frost. Here are 13 of them for Thursday Thirteen.

5 - blanketflower
6 - dianthus
7 - calendula
8 - alyssum
9 - black cumin, white rather than the usual blue
10 - black-eyed Susan (with more blanketflower and alyssum)
11 - penstemon, Red Riding Hood
12 - statice
13 - Shasta daisy, Angel

ReplyDeleteWe just had a first frost, but we still have folks out in the field cutting hay. I don't remember ever seeing anyone cut hay so late in the year. I love your flowers.
