 Wordless Wednesday

Spanish village sold in a Barcelona market during Christmas time 1969.  Parts are plastic, others clay or wood.  Now a regular part of my Christmas decorations.

caganer - Yes, a pooping man, he's a traditional part of the nativity.

  1. How much of your tree is thrift store finds? It's beautiful.

    1. Quite a bit of the ornaments are this year! I have a lot more ornaments not used. The tree against the wall takes fewer. Plus, the tree itself is from Goodwill. I never wanted an artificial tree, but trees went up in price so much all I was getting was a tiny table-top one. So, a few years ago my son convinced me to get a $40 one at Goodwill, with loads of lights already on it. I'm happy with it. No watering, no needles all over, no cats eating needles. No nice smell though, and the "canned" pine smell is nasty!

    1. Thanks. It's not a traditional snowy look Christmas.
