I thought it looked almost like a rainbow. The mountains are the Southern Oregon Coast Range (the southern part of the Oregon Coast Range, which is part of the Pacific Coast Ranges).

The are a bit like paintings. Dramatic storm paintings!
DeleteThe cloud formations are interesting. I'm not sure I've seen anything quite like this on our east coast. My favorite was the first photo with the grey shading both in the clouds and the mountains. Everything here is white from our recent snow.
ReplyDeleteNo, I hadn't seen them before either. I'm not sure how well the photos show the "almost a rainbow," but it had a bit of colors to it.
