They looked like they were glowing, or frosted.
I, too, absolutely love the lighting you captured.
I had to stand on the strawberry bed edge to get it, and hope no neighbors wondered why I was peering over fences at dawn!

Yeah, we had that Winter Storm Diaz come through. It was mostly just very windy and dark. For all I know the valley is snowed in though, I don't leave it! At least in winter.
