I hate air travel. I get nauseated (at least), and when I take something for it, I'm drowsy for the next 24 hours. I can deal with the less than an hour flight to Portland, usually. If I don't have a window seat I will shut my eyes for most of it, thinking, "Don't get sick... don't get sick..." Looking out helps. Sometimes they serve local wines and beers!
I live close to the airport too, very close, but not under their take offs or landings. These are probably from Portland or Seattle. My son in RI came to visit and asked how far I was from the airport. It's 7 minutes away! It's an "International" airport, but very small. I like it. Parking is right close too.

Today's air travel isn't for me but I hope all those contrails belong to flights going to interesting places.
