Skywatch Friday - January 26, 2023
At 5:29pm last Thursday I posted Skywatch Friday for the next day. Then, I went outside and at 5:32pm this sunset show began. The center two photos were at 5:34pm, and the last 5:36pm. The first one is looking south, the others west, towards the coast. In the second photo, that's steam from a mill, not smoke.
Enjoy your weekend.
Very nice
ReplyDeleteThank you. I thought that first was an interesting shape.
DeleteAll these sky photos are wonderful. I like the 3rd photo much.
ReplyDeleteI like bare trees against a sky, especially when they look black.
DeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteWunderschöne himmelsblicke in verschiedenen Farben,
ReplyDeletedas gefällt mir sehr !
Yes, it was very pretty the way the colors changed. I hope you don't mind, I am including a translation of your comment.
Delete"Beautiful sky views in different colors, I like that very much!"
One of the myriad reasons I post a week behind. Stunning.
ReplyDeleteIt happened again last night! I can see out the window looking north from my computer. But, the sky north is full of wires, so I don't take pictures that way. I can see when it's red, and that the other directions will be pretty too. So, next week, unless something amazing happens in the sky between now and then, you'll see last night's sky!
DeleteA true photoblogger is you! Nice captures!!
ReplyDeleteNice of you to say so! I never thought of myself that way! :)
Delete...I like the golden glow of #2!
ReplyDeleteIt's often glowing to the west. I wonder if it's pretty at the coast when that happens here?
DeleteYour sky was putting on quite a show. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
