Greetings from Australia. Just the other day we travelled through Casterton In Victoria which prides itself on being the home of the Kelpie. They have a museum and a festival https://www.casterton.org.au/birthplace-of-the-kelpie.html Visiting from A to Z https://anneyoungau.wordpress.com/
...a Kelpie is new for me.
ReplyDeleteIf you've seen pictures of dogs going across the backs of sheep they'd be kelpies. It's something they do particular to their breed!
DeleteAction scene :)
ReplyDeleteA common scene with kelpies! Apparently the breed learned the shortest distance between one side of the flock and another was a straight line across!
DeleteI didn't realize there were so many dog stamps!
ReplyDeleteDogs are quite a popular theme! People like dogs! Even in the countries where they are not seen as pets there are stamps of pet breeds.
Deletewow. Beautiful. Again. Are you going to frame all these stamps?
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of it, but that might be fun!

What a wonderful museum, and I'd love to attend a kelpie festival! How fun!
DeleteI'm afraid for me a kelpie will always be a dangerous water spirit in the form of a horse! lol
