This week Easter-y Things is the Spring theme for Thursday Postcard Hunt.
An odd Easter message on a 1915 postmarked postcard.
Smudged postmark, 191_.
My Little Golden Post Cards, from The Lively Little Rabbit, 1943
I found two of these tucked inside a book from the Goodwill Outlet store!

This is a Private Mailing Card, postmarked 1903, two years after Postcard or Post Card could be used on a card, without the "Authorized by Congress" notice.
Gardens are next week's Spring postcards.
These are very nice. My favourite is the one with two lively rabbits. The last one is a bit odd!
ReplyDeleteI love the first postcard!!! And the others are great too: look at that chick trying to scare the bug away.
ReplyDeleteThat poor chick looks like they might be considering their escape! Love the tumbling bunnies.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that Congress used to have to authorize post cards!
ReplyDeleteInteresting imagery.
ReplyDeleteThe lively little rabbits card is a gem, a great unexpected find.
