Sunday Stamps - June 15, 2025
Men Who May Be Fathers (At Work or Play) is the theme for this week's Sunday Stamps.
Australia 1952 - fathers often assist the children, ages 11-15, at the Scout Jamboree, held every four years since 1934, except during 1942-1945 (WWII) and 2022 (COVID).
Poland 1947 - Fisherman, part of professions series - I like to think this fisherman had children who followed him into the business. If they wanted.
USA 2024 - Hank Aaron at work playing baseball. I don't doubt he played baseball with his own six children.
