Pillars at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, Seattle, WA Photo copyright 1908. The Expo was a World's Fair publicizing the development of the Pacific Northwest in 1909. Originally scheduled for 1907, the 50th anniversary of the Klondike Goldrush, it was postponed due to another Expo taking place that year.
