It's Daylily Time! June 27, 2025
The daylilies are a few weeks behind last year's bloom time, but they've started!
Left is Gordon Biggs blooming for the first time. He was planted bareroot in 2023. On the right is good ol' Stella d'Oro, a bit less gold than the common landscaping ones around town.

Two Moons: Left is Moon Music, right Moon Over Monteray (not my spelling)
Wayside Knight Royale for sure on the left. The right? Similar, but a much smaller plant with smaller flowers, shorter petals. Neither are the "proper" color either, which should be a dark purple. Something about the soil I guess, although the plants aren't in the same are of the front yard.
Lullaby Baby on the left, and Ned's Choice on the right. He's a spider variety, which is a daylily with petals at least four times longer than they are wide.

The Ditch Lily or Orange Daylily is an invasive in some eastern and central U.S. states. Mine haven't spread at all, just gotten larger.
I'm still waiting on quite a few others, including two spiders.
