    1. Totally new to me too! U was one of the two hardest letters to find a dog breed for. Then, I had the worry there wouldn't be a postage stamp! I had most already, but had to locate a few.

    1. There are a few breeds beginning with U in foreign languages, but this one has Uruguayan right in its name! If you look up "cimarron dog" it will link to Uruguayan Cimarron. Cimarron means, in this context, wild or feral.

  3. Due to being dog-obsessed as a child, I've at least heard of many breeds, but this one was new to me. I also used "Uruguay" for my U post.

    1. I too was dog-obsessed, still am! My parents indulged me as a teen, taking me to large dog shows, and getting me a Brittany Spaniel (which weren't as common as they are now). "Uruguayan" is part of the breed's name in this case. I mention that only because some assumed I used it to get the U in there! They are also called Uruguayan Gaucho Dog.
