  3. What a variety of blooms you have this month! Your irises are so beautiful, especially the last one. Mine have buds but none are open yet (and it's early for bearded iris here) so they will be gone by the next GBBD.

    1. Yes, that iris is a beauty. They do have a very short bloom time. But, no fear, the daylilies will be here soon! And you have great ones!

  6. You have a wonderful collection of flowers, Lisa. Love how you grouped by color range. That Turkish sage really caught my eye--where could I find some?

    1. Turkish sage, Phlomis russeliana, is amazing! Even when it's not blooming it's a pretty plant with heart shaped leaves. I bought the seeds on eBay from a seller in the UK not selling any more. It's related to Jerusalem sage, but better behaved. I planted seeds in 2019, and the plants didn't bloom for a few years, maybe even three! I'm glad they were pretty and I left them! The seed heads are lovely in winter too. Here they are blooming two years ago.

  8. The Lupine is particularly striking. We can never get it to stick around in Maryland.
