Thursday Postcard Hunt - Blue
This month's theme for Thursday Postcard Hunt is Colors. This first week is Blue.
Two undivided back double blues. Blue Bluffs, Martinsville, Indiana in blue tones. They look greyer in these photos than they actually are.
A postcard from Germany.
Another blue tone, the Alcazar of Sergovia, Spain, a medieval castle. c1930
The state bird of Idaho, the Mountain Bluebird.
A Steller's Jay, one type of Blue Jay.
The color of the week next time is Green.
Love the castle, and the birds are fantastic
ReplyDeleteThe bird's images are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteDouble blue on the Blue Blufs postcards!
ReplyDeleteBlue birds always seem very strange and fascinating creatures to me. These are very beautiful pictures :)
The Stellar's Jay looks like it was dipped arse first into a blue paint can. I like the blue tinged Alcazar card. And Blue Bluffs is a new one for me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely selection.
ReplyDeleteBlue Buffs looks an interesting place, whereas the first card looks like a settlement the second structure looks more leisure orientated. In these days of climate change good to live on a bluff and be able to head uphill if the river floods.
ReplyDeleteThe last one is my favorite!
