Tuesday Treasures - July 4, 2023

Happy Independence Day, U.S.A.! 

 Three paintings and a comic today.

This floral still life, signed JD, with the J and D being connected, was found in the Goodwill Outlet bins.

 Look what I found at Goodwill!  Two 12" x 16" paint-by-number paintings in frames!  They are from the same 1958 Craft Master kit, catalog number NA-3072, and had 30 different colors of oil paints.  

The first is 8SSS, called Mallards.

It's companion piece is 8SSS2, Teals.

They are very well done.

Please be safe today.  Keep your pets indoors.  More pets go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year.  My own Mickey is petrified of the "boom-booms," and would bolt without a single look to me if given the chance.  Fireworks are legal here, but only certain ones, during specific dates, and not the "boom-booms" or firecrackers.
