Incoming Earwig Ickies
When I look at that pincer, I get a little shiver.
Hey, they are pretty disgusting. I have too many. Not as many as a few years ago, but too many in the flowers evenings and early mornings.
Well, I suppose you need to change things up from the bees...
I don't know what it was doing in that coneflower, but I read some kinds eat small insects, and pollen, so they are pollinating. I'd rather see bees and butterflies.
I agree! Earwigs are definitely ickies! But these closeup shots of them are undeniably beautiful.
I guess they are, in a way. Fascinating little creatures.
