Yeah, It's Been Raining a Bit! - January 13, 2024
I tell myself, "It's only rain. At least you aren't in Portland." I may be raining, but it's 40°. Portland is snowing and 13°, down from 16° earlier this morning.

Mickey will hesitate, and sometimes refuse, to go out if it's raining hard, but if he sees something interesting he forgets all about the wet.

If only we could be so interested in a wet cardboard box-I hope it was worth Mickey getting wet. We started our day at 46 degrees. I think right now it is windy and 35ish. Winter is back but not like Portland. Brrrr!
ReplyDeleteAnd they are NOT used to it! Our rain has not let up. In fact, the front yard, for the first time, is flooded. I need to brave the wet for a photo!

ReplyDeleteExactly there! Today was pretty warm, some blue in the sky too. Portland though... more snow for them Tuesday I hear.
DeleteYikes! Loads of rain and/or snow can be so crazy and disruptive. We just received more than a foot of snow, which is a lot for us from one storm. Take care!
ReplyDeleteA foot of snow is quite a bit, but so pretty. If a city isn't used to it though, things shut down.

DeleteIt looks like your yard is underwater. At least Mickey did go outside. My roommate's dog won't go outside if it's raining at all.
ReplyDeleteIt rained all day after those photos were taken, so got a lot worse. Today is mostly clear, and strangely rather warm. The front yard flooded for the first time I can remember, and most of it's receded. Mickey will sometimes look outside and change his mind.
