You found some impressive stamps. I love the word cocodrilo
ReplyDeleteFor me it is always difficult to pronounce "crocodile"! :)
DeleteI can't pronounce "crocodrilo" without making it a Spanish ll sound!
DeleteThe crocodile and turtle stamp are awesome. All others are very well depicted.
ReplyDeleteI like those best too. Not terribly old, but the look of the older stamps.
DeleteThe stamp of the age of reptiles is great. What a wonderful illustration! You found more than snakes today :)
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a book illustration!
DeleteI really like the markings on the snakes.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I think snakes are pretty. The colors and patterns, even the patterns of their scales.
DeleteKeeping with the Year of the Snake, I enjoyed the snakes of the former Soviet Union. Strangely, once again, the American stamp was my least favorite.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's more like a page out of an elementary school text on dinosaurs! All living at the same time, and the t-rex back there ready to attack.
DeleteA good assortment! I don't like snakes but the stamps are great.
ReplyDeleteI like them fine, expect when I'm on a nice relaxing stroll and they startle me! On, I don't like water snakes. Nope. Shouldn't exist! At least not where I may be swimming. Not that that has happened in years, I don't tend to swim in rivers anymore!
DeleteIt's amazing how many different themes you can hit with stamps.
ReplyDeletePretty much everything! I learn so much new from researching them too.
DeleteSiberian pit viper was a surprise I always associate Siberia with long winters. The Russian stamps show off snake markings nicely.
