Thursday Postcard Hunt - City/Metro Transportation Maps

This week for Thursday Postcard Hunt we searched for City and/or Metro Transportation Maps.

Tucson (Arizona) Trolleys

On the left is a 1953 trolley from Osaka Japan, with Japanese writing and artwork.  The right is a 1919 Briney Car.

Next week's map postcards?

    1. I think because it's older, it's plainer! The subway/tube ones are confusing to me.

  2. I love the idea of showing a map with the trolleys. (and that it is not quartered into squares - much more visually appealing.)

    1. I agree, it looks more like four photos laid on top of one another willy-nilly! Which it might be, but two photos laid on a map and photographed for the postcard.

  3. Nice to have a variety of trolleys, I'd probably pick the Briney to ride and enjoy the view from those big windows.

  4. Nice find! I'm too young to remember trolleys in New York City but you could still see their tracks laid on cobblestone streets in my neighborhood in my elementary school years (before the roads were paved over with asphalt).

  7. I like it, too. But, why is there a Japanese trolley on the postcard?
