Blogging From A to Z April Challenge Theme Reveal!
Yes, it's time again for the April Blogging A to Z Challenge theme reveal!
What? You've never heard of the A to Z Challenge? It's a challenge for bloggers. The challenge is to make posts during April, one a day with Sundays off, from the letter A through the letter Z. On any theme you want. In fact, as long as the posts are A to Z, no theme even works, just call it "Random A to Z"! This will be my sixth year participating. I missed 2019 here, participating with a different blog, and 2023 completely when I was recovering from COVID.
In the past my themes were garden related. Winter Sowing. Herbs. Flower. Miscellaneous Gardening. This year is something completely different! Not so different if you are a regular reader though. Sundays have been devoted to Sunday Stamps and Thursdays to Thursday Postcard Hunt. I discovered those blog hops due to a post on the A to Z site in February 2024 when the question was asked, "... what are your favorite blog hops...?" The host of both Sunday Stamps and Thursday Postcard Hunt commented, with a link to their site, and I jumped right in!
So, without further ado, as they say, here is my theme for 2025:
A to Z: Dog Breeds on Stamps
See, not a surprise! Stamps and my favorite thing, dogs, in one blogging challenge! Will I find a dog breed for each and every letter of the alphabet? Come back next month and see. Or, come back on those difficult letters most of us struggle with. You know, like Q or X, sometimes Z.
Here are some familiar breeds I won't be using.
Golden Retriever from Liberia
In the meantime, head over and see what's it about. It's easy. It can be as time consuming as you want, or as simple as looking around you and noticing something starting with A, or B, or Q. There's plenty of time, and the Theme Reveal post is optional. However, if you want to post one, you only have until March 15th. Click on the link at the top. The actual sign-ups start on March 24. You might find some blogs to follow for years to come. I did!
wow!!! what a great theme!!! I love it. Cant wait to see it....
ReplyDelete:) Hope you enjoy it!
Delete...some letters are harders that other, for sure!
ReplyDeleteYes, Q isn't so bad for most themes, it's that X.

I saw how many dog postage stamps I had and wondered if I could do A to Z. Started trying with countries, then went with breeds.
DeleteQuite an innovative and creative theme. Looking forward to your posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's a lot different from past years' themes!
DeleteThat is a very specific theme. But I'm sure you've already got the whole thing figured out. It'll be fun to read.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I do, maybe I don't! I do start planning well in advance.
DeleteThis is so clever!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Hope you like stamps and/or dogs!
DeleteOh, this is so fun! :) I hope Old English Sheepdogs will be included :D The Multicolored Diary - 2025 Theme Reveal
ReplyDeleteThere are several breeds beginning with O, so you'll have to wait to see!
DeleteGreat theme! I love how you've incorporated two things you are passionate about

Thanks. It's a theme much different from my usual. Gardening has been difficult the past few years, heat and wild fire smoke.
DeleteCool theme!

Thanks! :)
DeleteUnusual theme. I have no knowledge of dog breeds aside from the obvious ones. I hope you have find with the challenge.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Where I can I'm trying to use lesser known breeds. Like no German Shepherd or Labrador!
DeleteImpressively specific. https://15minuteclassics.blogspot.com/2025/03/back-to-basics-to-z-theme-reveal.html
ReplyDeleteIt actually came easy, I collect stamps, especially dog stamps. I just had to fill in a couple of letters!
DeleteThis looks like fun for those of us who are dog lovers
ReplyDeleteI hope it will be! Dogs are the best. Better than a lot of (dare I say "most"?) people.
DeleteFun theme. Not that I didn't enjoy the gardening, but variety is the spice of life, right?

Gardening has been harder the past few years. The summers are just too hot, and we've had a lot of wildfire smoke.
DeleteWhat a fun Theme. My mother is 90 and loves dogs, she doesn't access the internet but I think I'll be sharing your post with her when I pay a visit.
ReplyDeleteThat is sweet to think of her! My paternal grandmother was a dog person. It skipped a generation, then me!
DeleteWhat a fun theme - looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteI had fun finding them. Yes, past tense, I have them all!
DeleteWhen my daughters were lots younger they had paper routes and it seems the worst dogs on their routes were poodles! Looking forward to following you again this year.
ReplyDeleteYou don't see as many poodles as you used to. Dogs used to run loose too. I've only had a dog bite me once, on the nose. A Chihuahua!
DeleteWow! I'm excited about this one. And yes, I'm definitely curious about some of the trickier letters.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE your theme! Affinpincher? Afghan Hound? I'll have to come back on April 1 to find out!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is this?! I can't wait to see what A is for :-)
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! I can't wait to see what breeds you highlight!
ReplyDeleteGreat theme.
