Shadow Shot Sunday - August 13, 2023
A once-and-never-again shadow of the hanging light over my kitchen table. Once-and-never-again because the circumstances are not apt to repeat. The light was reflecting off a car parked just so across the street.
The shadow was on this rooster painting (from Goodwill of course!) until I hurried my son to, "Quick! Take it down! I have to get the shadow!"
Right place at the right time - nice capture! (I also love chicken art, and your Goodwill chicken. That's a find even though I don't think there is any real life chicken that looks like that).
ReplyDeleteSome roosters are quite colorful. One is an Indian breed developed for meat called the Rainbow rooster.
DeleteOh yeah, the car has to be in just that right spot as does the sun. Good catch.
ReplyDeleteI happened to be sitting at the computer, which is right near the kitchen (well, sort of part of). It wouldn't last long, so that's why I hurried my son!
