I like the soil conservation stamp!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised that stamp was so old, I think of conservation efforts to be a more modern idea. I guess farmers knew it all along.
DeleteThe soil conservation came about after the dust bowl, right? Not much conservation back then.
DeleteThat looks like a nice big house for vacationing in. And walking along rolling hills is enjoyable - you never quite know what to expect with each hilltop. I still dream that one day I will see Mt Fuji.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too! No reason not to be comfortable just because you're on vacation!
DeleteI love the house on the first stamp. Life seems so peaceful there, yet I bet the work to do is never-ending!
ReplyDeleteThere isn't any stamp of Mount Fuji I don't like!
Eclectic bunch.
ReplyDeleteNice if there was a rainbow at the end of every hike, pretty. Love the Mt Fuji stamp with the wind blown grass.
ReplyDeleteGreat selection today. Mt Fuji is a favorite.
ReplyDeleteThis Sunday Stamps entry is giving me some serious wanderlust! Love the variety of countryside scenes you picked. My favorite is the US stamp honouring ranchers and farmers - a great reminder of the importance of taking care of the land.
ReplyDeleteThe first stamp is really gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteStamps are fascinating. You have a great collection!
