Skies and Scarecrows
This is the library, city hall, police department, ballot box area of a nearby city. It's a small city, under 20,000, and always goes all out decorating. I'll have to get a shot of the main street during some of the holidays. Summer has huge hanging baskets of flowers.
Hawthorn "haws," a berry-like fruit that is edible.
Have a nice weekend.
Love your trees!
ReplyDeleteSpooky.
ReplyDelete...those clocks are popping up in every small town here. The clock salesman must be busy!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks just like the tiny one for my Christmas village!
DeleteNice color in the trees. Interesting scarecrows
ReplyDeleteI love all the fall color and decorations in that city. It just struck me that the small cities decorate really do well in such things. I can think of several suburbs of Tulsa that go all out decorating.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they have more money to spend, not dealing with bigger city problems.
DeleteBeautiful fall colors!
ReplyDeleteThe trees seem to be decoration enough at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteBetween the municipal scarecrows and the fall color with the hawthorne "decorations", this was a nice photo collection.
ReplyDeleteI love, love the municipal scarecrows!
ReplyDeleteThe city looks so festive and well-kept.
