Sunday Stamps - October 20, 2024

Birds are the theme for this week's Sunday Stamps.

There are so many beautiful stamps with so many beautiful birds it was hard to narrow it down!  Here's a sampling of birds from around the globe.

French Southern and Antarctic Territories 1956
Rockhopper Penguins

Japan 1975
From a bingataBirds in Flight part of International Ocean Exposition, Stamp Expo in Okinawa.

Oman 1982
Red-Legged Partridge

Romania 1960
Black Grouse

Next week brings Public Buildings.

  1. Penguins always make me smile :) The Japanese birds look like they might be seeking fish in those waves. The loon is a favourite of mine, too (I'd forgotten the issue date - it's as old as me!)
