Shadow Shot Sunday - November 24, 2024

This shadow needs a bit of explanation, especially once you watch the videos.  At the nearby school there is a fixture that looks like a fire ring, with mesh on top.  Turns out it's for the gutter runoff, although it's not near the walls of the building, but right in the center of a paved area (which is why I thought it was a fire ring and wondered why it was there!).  So, the person I know who works there got these shots a few days ago for me, because he thought I'd like them for Shadow Shot Sunday.  He calls it "a negative shadow... Since it's a reflection of light off the water hitting the shadowed part of the wall."
