Skywatch Friday - November 29, 2024
Yesterday (and today) started out very foggy and very cold, along with a hard frost.
The fog burned off and the day was sunny and very cold.
This is Mount McLoughin from the grocery store parking lot. I can see the top of it from my driveway, but that's not much of a view.
It was the first morning Mickey's outdoor water froze. He likes ice! Natural ice, not ice cubes.
Some of the frosted garden.
The leaves are mostly off the wild grapes.
Their taste is fine, but they are mostly seed so I don't bother with them. Oddly enough, neither do the birds (or occasional yard rats).
Have a nice weekend.
...most days this week the sky have been overcast here!
ReplyDeleteI love how you captured the frost on these plants. Small miracles happening right there in your garden. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNice view of the mountain. It’s cold here, too, but not frozen like where you are.
ReplyDeleteawww, I love your icy delights. beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful frost picture macros. That view of Mt. McLoughlin, volcanic and snowcapped, was also beauty to me. We have nothing like that in New York State.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great view of the mountain. Even a peek can be nice. This morning I sat next to a couple on the plane from Nashville to home, and the husband commented on the mountains surrounding the area. He said he was used to flat. I mentioned that one does see the mountains, and he enjoyed that idea.
ReplyDeletereally nice clicks...loved them all
