Those used to mean Christmas for a lot of us, back in the day.
Yes, I liked them, but when one went out my father would have to check them one by one. We had those big metal reflectors on each bulb too. I finally gave in and got a pre-lit artificial tree. Thrift store of course!

Like me! I found that box in a bag at the Goodwill Outlet store, and liked its looks somehow.
