Skywatch Friday - March 1, 2024
Two moons and the sky from a parking lot.
It's been raining, and now chains are again required to go over the summit to California. The forecast here in the valley is a mix of rain and snow. Nice welcome to March.

There's a spooky vibe to the nighttime pictures. That last picture, though, had flat clouds near the mountains that seem different than clouds I've seen before. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were a bit different from usual, especially from that parking lot (Goodwill Outlet!). There was more pink to them closest to the mountain than the photo shows.
DeleteBeautiful moon photos. I really like the second one, with branch silhouettes. The Sierras are supposed to get bombarded with snow this weekend!
