Sunday Stamps: Snakes, the Color Green, or Irish
In keeping with the day, St. Patrick's Day, Sunday Stamps has picked the theme of Snakes, the Color Green, or Irish stamps.
No snakes, but I have some greens from Ireland.
1953, an Irish harp, in celebration of the inaugural Tostal Festival. This celebration of Irish life only lasted a few years.
1981, featuring a stylized dog, from a decoration on a 7th century brooch.

ReplyDeleteMine are from a childhood album, a store when my kids were home schooled, and that box of stamps I bought a few weeks ago! I have stamps in the box from 120+ countries so far!

ReplyDeleteI think snakes are pretty, but when I see them (in nature) they always startle me! I don't mind handling them, I worked in a pet store in the past (not a chain).
