    1. The blue ones are my favorite. They are so easy to grow too.

    1. Not related, but you may know them by their other name, cornflowers.

  3. Lovely pictures of the bachelor button gardens. I didn't know they were in more colors than blue and were also known as cornflowers. I've had the blue ones in flowerbeds ...they are easy to grow here in Texas. Thanks for visiting my Bluebonnet post. Yes, the wildflower photo is FABRIC. I'm a quilter and every year I look forward to the newest Texas Wildflower fabrics...which I have a collection of and am very frugal with how I use them.

    1. The blue is where we get the color "cornflower blue." The pink and purple I grow is a dwarf mix. They come in all sorts of colors, some seeds are quite expensive!

  4. Oh Bachelor buttons are so cute. I have some that come up but then never flower. They get morning sun till about 1pm - it is hot where I live like triple digits so it could be the heat.

    1. I had always wanted those obelisks, but they cost so much. Happened I worked at a farm and ranch store and found a lot of very old boxes of them on a forgotten shelf out in the garden area. The buyer let me get them really cheap. I got two like that, two called Eiffel Tower, and two metal rose arches, all for $80. I sprayed the wooden ones bright colors! I use the two pointier ones in front with lights at Christmas.
