These wild ones are tiny, very tiny, but sweet. My bigger ones are flowering now, a few have dropped their petals. One kind is a June bearer, the other everbearing. One of them escaped all over the area over the winter!
Lovely. I've finally got mine to grow properly -- in old 2L cooldrink bottles hanging from a wall. Otherwise the wild birds just run through and trample everything and eat the plants...
Nice
ReplyDeleteYum! Definitely a favorite. I've been eating quite a few lately. Soon the local crop will be ready. :)

ReplyDeleteLet me guess, you commented on your phone? I'm only anonymous when I do that, even on my own blog. I have to okay my own posts from my phone.
DeleteAre your wild strawberries edible? I hope you get to enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteThey are, and sweet. But, very tiny, so more of a novelty!
