Gardening in Southern Oregon zone 8b, with pets, past reflections, and "Tuesday Treasures" thrown in!
F is for Flax (blue).
It is really a little gem! so pretty!
It blooms on tall stems that bend and bounce in the breeze!
This is a fun series of posts. The little flax seedlings are so cute, and the flowers of course are beautiful!
That's exactly what I think, cute seedlings! I'm glad you are enjoying the posts.
...nice, there aren't that many blue flowers!!!
No, many "blue" are a purple. My native blue-eyed grass is blue too. Mine is just starting to open.
Those are cute.

It's a beautiful flower I have never tried to grow. I remember blue eyed grass from long ago, when I lived in Northwest Arkansas.
It germinates very easily. The seed packet had so many I've been using them for a few years. Three, maybe four even.
Beautiful! I'll add it to my list of things to sow this year.Ronel visiting for F: My Languishing TBR: FGorgon
Very pretty.
This is one thing I've never tried. I had no idea the flowers were blue. I'm not sure how it would do in my area...zone 8 I think. Sue at WhereBluebonnetsGrow
I'm zone 8b, so you should be fine. The kind used for food is linum usitatissimum, with blue flowers too. This is Linum lewisii.
