Gardening in Southern Oregon zone 8b, with pets, past reflections, and "Tuesday Treasures" thrown in!
Lovely, but those projections scare me. Not familiar with this plant.
ReplyDeleteBorage is more commonly an amazing blue. Bees love it. The pokey things are actually soft.
DeleteAre those little hair-like things soft or prickly?
ReplyDeleteSoft!
Delete...thisis a new one for me, thanks.
ReplyDeleteMummy says we like borage. I can't remember having it, but she says it should grow again this year, even though she pulled a lot out last year. Ours has blue flowers, though.

I have the blue also. More of it in fact. It's so easy to grow. I started with two blue flowered plants I grew from seed. Now, I have it all over! The bees love it. Be careful of bees! That's what I tell Mickey, my dog. "Leave bees alone!" And, "Don't chase the butterflies!"
DeleteI've never grown white Borage: It's really pretty. Beautiful captures, too!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a stunning capture of the white borage plant! The flower exudes purity. I've never seen one yet, but I read somewhere that it also holds medicinal properties and attracts beneficial pollinators like bees. Thank you for sharing this! Happy WW!
